Hey There, Looking for help identifying what PR represents before year on title plate. Ialso noticed a 1/2 " bend in back bone of frame and was wondering if this was a ss model #145592 any help would be appreciated. Thanks,Colin

Just a guess, but it ould mean "Production Racer", in which case, you have a valuable piece of history!

The VIN makes it within the range of "possibly" being an SS.
The PR is probably just some one tampering with the plate. The longer these bike have been out in the public the more butchering has been done to these bikes.
The NOC with the factory records is the ONLY way I would accept it has any connection with a production racer except factory original paperwork.

The bow on the backbone tube is in all commandos. Only the amount varies, I have never seen one without it, since they all happen from shrinkage from welding the crossbar during original manufacture of the frame.
