"Just got a '67 Atlas"
Sun May-09-10 03:22 PM by 4BB

Hey Hooligan's, I just picked-up a '67 Atlas in wonderful un-restored condition. It hasn’t been running for a while, but everything looks fine. It turns over great and even the cables work perfect. This week I’ll get a new battery, drain/refill the oil, clean the carb bowls, give the tank the once over and try to fire it up and see what happens? I need some Whitworth wrenches, to learn about magneto’s and the Norton wet-sump oil system. Any suggestions or anything I should absolutely be aware of? I had a '76 Bonnie year's ago and I ride a nicely modded Thruxton now, but have little experience with true classic brit iron. Thanks. 4BB
