"BSA A10 Interchangeability"
Mon Mar-01-10 10:03 AM by Zonker

Does anyone know where to find a parts interchangeability list/catalogue for the BSA A10 engines? I am wanting to start collecting parts to build one but I know there is quite a bit of variation over the run of production. My interest is not in doing a restoration but rather a bobber so my needs are what will work with what not so much what will be exactly historically correct.
Thank you for any help.

Klemf's British Parts-www.klemfs.com has a good catalog to download free. There is a lot of interchange on unit twins, I have a pre-unit clutch with 4 springs in my '65 650T. Gary Rask at Rask Cycle was very helpful to me during the build. You're best off getting a whole engine and rebuilding it if it isn't too torn up. I'm having trouble attaching a photo but you can see my BSA chop at Bikepics.com listed under 1965 BSA Spitfire in Brunswick,Ohio. Good luck with you build. Pat
