"Interesting bikes please apply"

I'm the Director of Operations for the Fairfield County Concours in Westport, CT. We are looking for interesting British bikes for our 12 Sept 2010 event. We do things a little differently. We line up our vehicles chronologically from 1900 to present. That includes the bikes entered in the event. Our reasoning is: if you walked down the street in 1969, you might see a Triumph T-Bird and a Ford Thunderbird. We are fast becoming one of the significant shows in the North East and we would like owners of interesting British bikes to enter. Unlike other events, there is no entry charge and we make a great effort to treat exhibitors to a great day.

We are looking to attract early British bikes and significant models like Gold Stars, Triumph Cubs, etc. To fill out an application, go to www.fairfieldcountyconcours.com and add your information. Remember that applicants will be chosen on the basis of unique features and pictures are important. We like great stories and unrestored bikes are welcome. We also have a new category call Barn Finds which will be administered by Tim Cotter of "Vincent in the Barn" fame.
Thanks... you can always email me with questions at jshuck optonline net
