"Commando transmission mainshaft circlip"

FWIW
The main shaft 06-0572 circlip are known to sometimes be manufactured incorrectly. Just like a piston ring that is to big.
When installed on the shaft the ends of the ring shut and don't really seat to the bottom of the mainshaft groove....ie..no gap. Then you try to put the 06-0747 clutch support washer and it will not seat over the circlip. It gets ugly after that.
Moral of the story ....make sure the ring will seat into the spacer recess before installation on the mainshaft.
Fettling may be required.

added:
I have rethought my wording and consider the supplied circlips that I examined to be improperly substituted for the correct items. The subs were thinner by a few thou...and seem to be suitable for a larger shaft entirely and even if modified would still be unsuitable for the commando shaft.
