"exhaust problems"

I noticed this evening that I have a few exhaust leaks on my 850 commando.

It leaks out of every joint in the balance pipe.

My question to you guys, does anyone have a solution for this?

The only one I have come up with is to use an exhaust sealant. Would you guys recomend the use of a sealent? I do believe that these leaks may have alot to do with the crazy erratic idle I couldnt seem to fix.

Please lend me a hand, thanks.

My fix is to ignore it.
Slather all the bits of the balance pipe with antiseize.
Tighten only one end of each clamp on each end of the balance pipe and let the other end of the connector tube/clamp "float".
The header pipe is less likely to crack due to reduced stress from
over-restraining the pipe.
That's what I do.

-no cracked pipes

Because of heat and vibration the 850 cross over exhaust were a problem.Eventually the weld on the cross over on the exhaust will crack.Get a set of 750 pipes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
