"fuel line"

Hi all, I'm working on a 74 850 Cmdo and not sure if the right petcock feeds the right carb or if they cross? I'm close to starting this bike on a dyno and I know this is a dumb question. But would like to know. The fuel lines were crossed where the Rt ptck feeds the Lt carb. Then, I noticed the float bowl fitting can be set anywhere within about a 180 degree range..Please help?!

It sounds like you have a very nonstandard fuel line setup.
one petcock on at one time is the norm....fed by

Commandos normally have a "H" fuel line arrangement.
early were two "T"s in front of the carbs and single banjos on each carbs...
later were double banjos on the carbs with a tube as balance between the carbs.
