"Albert (Bert) Watts bn 1897 - Norton TT Racer?"

I am researching a great uncle Bert Watts who I have been told raced for Norton including at the TT races. Given he was born in Cheshire around 1897, he would presumably have raced between, say, 1917 (assuming the TT races carried on during the war) and 1930. Does any know how I might find out if this is true?
Thank you!

There is an Isle of Man TT website with a rider data base. The only Watts with a B initial rode in the 2007 year. There are several other Watts listed so maybe you should check them out.
