"Exhaust Threads"

Hello Gents
I have a 750 Norton and like many others out there the Exhaust threads are gone . I was thinking instead of having it bored and having a insert made for it. Finding a Machine shop that has a CNC machine and having just enough taken off and rethreading it and make a new Exhaust Nut made for it. I seen someone on e*** He makes a set from Stainless steel . I think it’s a little much not so much the price. I was thinking of a high grade aluminum. The question is What do you guys think about that ideal?
