"ES2 cam timing"

hi

can anybody assist with intake/exhaust centerline figures(point of maximum lift in crank degree's) for an early fifty's es2.
I am trying to verify cam timing off the lifters. I get approx.
inlet : 120 degree's A.T.D.C.
exhaust : 110 degrees's B.T.D.C.
I have a piston/gudgeon overheating problem that I think is a top ring, cylinder prep. problem.
The machinist thinks its cam timing.

thanks

Rosco
