"Fork top inserts"

I have a 71 Tiger650 With a Disk Brake front end(later
year?)When the top nuts are removed there is an insert plug
threaded into the fork.It has 2 slots in it.Anyone know if
there is a special tool to remove this plug so fork oil can be
changed?
