I'm looking for a source of new kickstart ratchet and ratchet pinion for a 1946 B31 gearbox - these seem to be pretty well unobtainium. Can any one help or is there an alternative, even if it means changing to post-48 gearbox if same will fit

Let me know if you're still looking for the B31 gearbox parts. I have a disassembled gearbox that came with a bulk purchase. I believe it's a pre-1948 (no cover screws through the front part of the outer cover), and it looks like all the parts are there.
