A pleasure to be a part of this community. My bikes engine was just rebuilt and I'm up to tackling the wiring. The original harness is there but spliced and modified to look rather like an Italian dish. With a decent schematic I can either build it. Or, have it built by Road Island Reds. Any suggestions for books or sites? Buy the way, have any of you ever heard of a british bike builder by the name of Jack Simmons. He built bikes in Compton CA. on Atlantic for over 40 years. I didn't find him in CA. But, about a six hour drive from my house in Three Forks Montana. If any of you have ever met this veteran racer/builder I'm sure you certainly would remember him. Along with being impressed with his knowledge and machine work. Thanks to this mans trust and effort I'll be on the road several months before our snow melts. For those who may know him. He's in his mid 70's now. Healthy and still sharp as a tack. A machine shop at his home and more knowledge on british bikes than can be attained in a lifetime. Hi to all. Bill Rhodes

There is not much I haven't done on a norton. I am primarily a electronic tech and also do mechanical and physics work. I am frequently pressed for free time, but if you have pointed question of an advanced nature feel free to ask.

I'm rebuilding a Mk3 and have just finished wiring the main harness. I have completed the following for documentation:

1. A READABLE original electrical schematic for the Mk3,
2. A current complete Mk3 schematic reflecting my bike, i.e. Sparx 3-phase alternator, Sparx regulator, Pazon Sure-fire ignition, Pazon dual coil, 6-fuse block, relays for headlights and horn.
3. A Main Harness diagram reflecting the above.
4. I've drawn up the Ignition Harness as well, but will not complete the wiring until next week to confirm the drawing.
